The Falcon's Alibi

THE FALCON’S ALIBI” - (SHANNON STEELE SPINOFF – FALCON MYSTERY SERIES) - Dr. Shannon Steele and Dr. Stone (now married) are chasing the elusive Dr. Sandra Petersen, whom left her job at the University of Minnesota to pursue a job at Sul Ross University in Alpine, Texas. Steele and Stone decide to take a summer professorship at Sul Ross to keep close to the action. While driving from the Twin Cities, Steele and Stone decide to stop in Dallas overnight. At the hotel, they run into Tom Lawrence, a.k.a. “The Falcon,” who happens to be Steele’s first cousin and they are very close. Since Tom was unable to make Steele and Stone’s wedding, he hosts a gala party for them at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin that evening. Tom is a very wealthy bachelor who makes a great living by giving away his money. As they arrive at the party, suddenly Tom is arrested for the murder of a foreign agent. The only problem with the crime is that the supposed murder victim walked out of the morgue, but as fate has it, is subsequently found floating in the Colorado River stabbed to death. Steele and Stone, temporarily detained from accepting the summer professorship at Sul Ross are now pressed to help Tom. This SPINOFF stars Tom Lawrence as “The Falcon.” The episode ends with Tom taking a vacation to Steele’s Pelican Lake, Minnesota home. Upon his arrival he finds something more than a vacation waiting for him.

Before leaving Minneapolis for their wedding, Steele and Stone have an uninvited guest- now the adventure begins. The honeymoon cruise from the wedding takes the couple and four select friends directly into the Bermuda Triangle. Once in the triangle, Dr. Shannon Steele experiences something that few people get to- take a honeymoon not only before you are married, but before you were born! They are transported to WWII Cuba and now have to stop a Nazi plan to invade the U.S. through El Paso

The address is 1717 Peppercorn Place in Bloomington- a suburb of Minneapolis. When they arrive at the house there is a big surprise. Someone bought them this magnificent multi-million dollar house as a wedding present. Everyone at the party is stunned by this generosity. After the gifts are exchanged, and the guests finally leave, Steele and Stone settle down to the realization that no gift comes without strings- including this one from Dr. Farmer. It appears their lives are not going to be the same from now on.

. SHANNON STEELE MYSTERIES “UNBEKNOWNST TO THEM” – Set in the Midwest and Caribbean. Dr. Farmer asks for Steele and Stone's help in solving a mystery in Belize. The U.S. government is worried about the newest drug on the market. A group of South American doctors headed up by Dr. Mann (a woman) have come across a drug based on an Old Mayan recipe of cocoa bean. This is in concentrated form and taken as a pill. The effects will cause a person to loose all desire to do anything, but with the increased drive to have sex 24/7. Without someone stopping this surge, the world will never again be safe and world population could explode to epic proportions, not to mention the threat of disease! Steele and Stone are called into to the rescue- but will Dr. Farmer be able to make it out of this one alive?
